He's very good at wriggling out of what looks like a sack, and that can make him overconfident at times when he should be getting rid of the ball.
I'd go with Romo's comment from last week. Get the ball out quickly and take what is available. Our current wide receivers aren't good enough to make big plays given that Jeffrey will be limited if he plays. That means the defence can target Ertz and Goedert. Just move the chains 3-8 yards at a time and keep the drive going.
If that means more running by Wentz, then he needs to make a quick decision not to throw and get a few positive yards with his feet.

Totally agree with all of this. I've been calling for them to roll him out on shortish yardage situations. Make the defense pick whom they're going to cover--Wentz running or the receiver(s). Will also get him away from pressure.
But yes, design a run every so often--once or twice a game--will keep the defense honest.
