I think it is.

Goal number one has to be, make the post season
goal two has to be take NFC East crown
goal three has to be take HFA all the way.

So with these in mind, next game is a MUST win.

And it's not going to be easy depending on who is deactivated. We need full throttle Offense and the front four HAS to put the heebie jeebies in the Bledsomuchheneedsedatransfusion guy.

Huge game. The results will definitely affect the team's psyche. If they go 0-2 in division, at home, they will have a difficult time winning the division-especially with 3 away division games at the end.

AR & company have always been a good road team...but have no fear this game will be a gimme

Absol-fucking-lutely.

We can't afford a second loss in the division, and especially not at home. This is a chance to get a little daylight between us and the also-rans, putting pressure on them to catch up.

While the season is not lost should we lose, it's as close to a "must win" as you'll ever see this early in a season.

We NEED to beat a good team. (period)

Additionally, we need to exorcise the TO demons once and for all.

GO EAGLES!!!

There was a time BA (Before Andy) when a win over the 'pukes could make or break a season. Now we are so spoiled with post season appearances and years of 'puke failures that we lost the sense of high value we once placed on it. Thanks to the unmentionable one and a rediscovery of football deep in the black heart of Texas that value is again of inestimable proportions. Post season is post season, all well and good. But Phootball in Philly is about whupping Dallass. Ahhhh, I love the scent of napalm in the south philly air!

this is a HUGE game for Eagles...If the Giants win against the skins and we beat the Cowboys, that leaves the rest of the division all at 2-2...skins at 2-3... In addition to that, any feeling of invincibility will be cast out the window if we lose another division game at home. T.O....well he will have given the Eagles not one, but two middle fingers in the past year. We need to dominate this game from start to finish...and what I really want from Owens is a garbage time touchdown when we have a big lead so then his little theatrics are placed on hold. I'd love to see the Cowboys being beaten 35-7 and then owens gets a touchdown with a minute left...no celebration, just jeers from the crowd, and hopefully some Duracells being chucked his way smile.gif

on second thought...hopefully with a minute left Owens will be in the ER getting Dawkin's cleat removed from his ass. rolleyes.gif

Prediction
Eagles 35
Cowboys 10

It is a must win for this team.

Lose this game, and they surrender the division. They will not be able to make up for two home divisional losses and still win the division. At that point, a wild card would be the next goal and our division is too tough to make that reasonably possible.

Yes, it is a must win.

I hope they are as hyped about this game as I am! I smell a complete ass kicking! I expect this to be our first 60-minute, all out, physical drubbing that will jumpstart the rest of the season. I expect Bleedslow to have the ground rush up to meet him so often that there will be wonder if he can finish the game.

I get the feeling that there have been some things held back for this game. Some things the team hasn't done yet that they will unleash on Dullass and completely innihilate them. The entire city will be stoked, and I expect the players will be as well. I'm not worried about our defense next week. I'm just hoping Donnie stays within himself and doesn't get too hyped up early. If that happens, we're going to kick the holy shit out of Dullass.

No score prediction, though. I haven't made my mind up on one yet.

Psychologically this is a MUST WIN. Yes, TO comes back, we all know that, but its bigger than that. we havent won a division game since 2004. We NEED to end that streak.

It's divisional so it mean something and you want to keep the dullas scabs from overrunning the football chat boards.
